How advising works

One advisor, start to finish

You won't be passed between departments or repeat your story to strangers. When you begin planning with us, you're matched with a named advisor who learns how you travel — and stays with your booking until you're home.

Replies within one business day

Matching

Matched to how you travel

Your first answers — destination, style, timing, who's traveling — go to a real person, not a queue. We match you with the advisor whose experience best fits your trip: the expedition sailings, the river routes, the anniversary voyages.

You'll know their name, their direct email, and their phone number from the first reply. A second advisor is briefed on your file as backup, so you're never stranded if yours is traveling.

Standards

What you can expect, in writing

24h

Response time

Every inquiry answered within one business day. If a full reply needs longer, we say so — and say when.

1:1

Named contact

One advisor owns your booking end to end, with a named backup who can see your file.

0

Pressure

No countdown timers, no manufactured urgency. Genuine supplier deadlines are shared; everything else moves at your pace.

The process

What happens after you inquire

I

Discovery call

Twenty to thirty minutes on your travel history, pace, must-haves, dislikes, and budget for the whole journey — not just the fare.

II

Planning brief

We write back what we heard, in your words. You correct it before we do any real work — no surprises later.

III

Two or three options

A short, opinionated list: why each fits, the main trade-off, total cost, and a clear recommendation. Never a catalog.

IV

Reserve & prepare

You approve in writing. We book, then walk you through documents, dining, excursions, and transfers — and stay reachable while you travel.

Fees

How we're paid, plainly

For most cruise bookings, our compensation comes from the cruise line — at no extra cost to you. Where our work goes beyond a standard booking (complex multi-leg journeys, extensive land arrangements), we'll discuss any planning fee before undertaking the work, in writing, with the amount and what it covers.

You'll always know what we earn and what you pay. If a booking doesn't need us, we'll tell you that too.

Begin

Meet your advisor

The fastest way to meet the person who'd plan your trip is to describe the trip. Five minutes of questions; a considered reply within one business day.
